Surge protection in the smallest of spaces
The DATATRAB D-UFB-PB provides professional surge protection in a height of just 35 mm. The protective circuit is accommodated in a 9-pos. D-Sub connector to which the Profibus cable can be directly connected.
It is not necessary to install an extra protective device. The equipotential bonding to ground is already prepared in the form of a separate cable. Thanks to the low height, the DATATRAB D-UFB-PB can be used in the latest generation of Siemens PLCs.
For fast transmission
The Profibus connector is designed for applications with a speed of up to 12 mbps. The Profibus cable is connected in the protective plug using screw terminal blocks.
Fast termination
The termination resistor can be connected using a slide-type switch on the upper side of the housing, making termination quite simple.
