Mold Cavity Plants – Precision Work with Quint Power
Such complex, state-of-the-art machines can only be produced cost-effectively by using ingenious and easy to install automation technology. Walter Exeron has solved this problem by consistently using PHOENIX CONTACT Interface products.
All the mold cavity plants made by Walter Exeron work on the principle of spark erosion. Here, the material carrying effect of electrical discharge between two conducting electrodes. The workpiece forms the first electrode, the tool forms the second.

The accurately controlled movement of the electrode allows a very precise volume of any shape to be formed from any workpiece which can conduct electricity. To control the signal sequences, a multitude of measurement, control and regulation values are necessary. For this purpose, the electrical values are transmitted to the central control via the INTERBUS-IP65 local bus, where they are evaluated and then sent on to the appropriate actuator.

QUINT POWER withstands the harshest environments
The efficiency of over 90% limits the heat loss. This prevents the switch cabinet from heating up. The wide input voltage range of 320-350 and the full capacity of QUINT POWER, even if one phase fails, guarantee a steady supply to this innovative technology, even during serious mains interruptions.
